Tóm tắt
This study investigates the difficulties English-majored students encountered when studying Korean as an additional foreign language. Data were collected through a survey involving the participation of 51 third- and fourth-year English major students. They responded to four sets of questions related to difficulties in alphabet, grammar, vocabulary, and Korean language materials on a 5-point Likert scale. The results indicate that the majority of students reported having difficulties in learning Korean grammar and accessing Korean language materials. Additionally, learning Korean vocabulary and the Korean alphabet were also challenging for them. Finally, the study discusses pedagogical implications for teaching and learning Korean and provides recommendations for future studies.
